Queen Street Corridor MTSAs
In February 2026 Council adopted policies for seven transit station areas along Queen Street (Centre, Kennedy, Rutherford, Laurelcrest, Dixie, Central Park, Bramalea), allowing mid-rise (5-12 storeys) and high-rise (13+) mixed-use buildings near stations. Metrolinx has proposed a 24 km Queen St-Highway 7 BRT to Vaughan Metropolitan Centre.
