Brampton Pre-Construction Near GO Stations and the Hazel McCallion LRT (2026)

Short answer: If transit matters to you, Brampton's transit-area pre-construction is in four places:
  • Mount Pleasant, on the Kitchener GO line: condos from $429,990 and townhomes from the $500s.
  • Downtown, around Brampton Innovation District GO: condos from the $500,000s, registration open.
  • The Queen Street Züm corridor: condos, prices not yet released.
  • The Brampton Gateway area at Steeles and Main, the northern end of the Hazel McCallion LRT: condos from the $300s.

Prices are the builders' published starting prices, checked November 4, 2026.

Transit-area homes rent more easily and appeal to commuters when you sell. That is why the city's own plans steer the most housing toward these areas (see Brampton Plan 2051). Distances below are described by area. Check the walking distance on each project's map before you decide. Project names link to their pages on PreconMap.

Mount Pleasant GO (Kitchener line)

Mount Pleasant in northwest Brampton was planned around its GO station, and it has more transit-area new homes than any other area on this list.

Brampton Gateway (Steeles and Main): the Hazel McCallion LRT terminal

The Hazel McCallion Line is being built to run between Port Credit GO in Mississauga and the Brampton Gateway Terminal at Steeles Avenue. That makes the Gateway area the Brampton end of a rapid-transit line to Mississauga City Centre and the lake.

What to check before buying near transit

  • The actual walk. "Near the GO" can mean five minutes or twenty-five. Measure it on the map.
  • The service. Check the current GO schedule for your stop: how often trains run at the times you would commute, and the travel time to your work.
  • Parking and fees. Condos and stacked towns near transit often sell parking separately and charge monthly fees. Add both to your carrying cost (our cash-flow guide shows how).
  • Closing costs. New homes carry development charges and levies at closing. See development charges explained.

Questions people ask

Which Brampton GO station has the most new pre-construction nearby?

Mount Pleasant GO. Its area has several condo, townhome and detached communities selling or registering, from $429,990 at MontVert.

Is there pre-construction near the Hazel McCallion LRT in Brampton?

Yes. DUO Condos is in the Brampton Gateway area at Steeles and Main, at the Brampton end of the line, with published prices from the $300s.

Are transit-area homes a better investment?

They tend to rent faster and appeal to more buyers. But condo fees, parking and closing costs can cancel out the advantage, so run the numbers for the specific unit.
